Air-Way Manufacturing currently recruiting for the following positions.
Air-Way is searching for a CMM & Vision Systems Programmer to join our team. This is a salaried, non-exempt position that will work between the Edgerton, Ohio, and Hamilton, Indiana facilities.
Essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and production teams, and assist with resolving quality issues.
- Perform routine maintenance & calibration checks on CMM equipment.
- Complete inspection documentation and report discrepancies.
Train other personnel as needed. - Develop and maintain inspection programs for Keyence Vision Measurement Systems.
- Create and maintain programs for Fowler Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Interpret Engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
- Develop inspection methods for new products and engineering revisions.
The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Quality Systems, or equivalent training.
- Experience programming vision inspection systems or CMM equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
CAD experience is a plus. - Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 1ATF 16949 quality systems.
